Springtide Cavalry

Before cameras my life was music, my first paid job outside of school was a solo gig at a local pub in Dover. I remember telling my dad that I was going to open with John Lennon ‘Working Class Hero’, he tried to convince me otherwise but I was sure they would understand what I was trying to say…they didn’t ! They wanted Wonderwall three times !!

I spent most of my 20's touring the UK with a band called Springtide Cavalry. We played 100club and watched Steve Dingle kick in the backstage doors and Simon Fowler from Ocean Colour Scene pester us for booze. We were out and out mods. Living off the Small Faces and Weller. Life was perfect!

Over the last few years I have tried to keep up the band stuff but I just don’t have the time. I still get to drop in on rehearsals and listen to new tunes, laughs and stories from the road…only this time I have a camera!
