rouleur desire

Since March 2020 I have been lucky enough to work with Rouleur Magazine on their Desire section. I have been commissioned to shoot product images in a studio environment…thank god they still accept the weird and wonderful!

I have really enjoyed this challenge, an area of photography I was only just beginning to dive into the start of this year. It isn’t easy trying to create an image from scratch, in fact it is a lot harder than planned. It is super easy to fall into the trap of creating something that represents the product too obviously but I always try and view each object with a different approach. What does it make me think of? How can I make this stand out?
