HALF DEAL

Right then, rocked up to the Deal Tri Half Marathon this weekend. I wasn’t planning on a full-on mission, just wanted to mess about with some direct flash work, see what magic could happen. Also, let’s be real, it was a good excuse to see some proper grafters do their thing.

But bloody hell, these lot weren’t messing. I thought I’d get a couple of stops in, maybe three, and make a bit of a journey of it. Nah. Toby, the winner-to-be, turned up about five minutes after I landed at the first stop. Unreal pace. Scrap the plan - straight to the finish line.

The whole thing was bang on—properly managed, smooth as you like. Shoutout to Deal Foodbank for showing up and supporting. Always good to see events pulling the community together.
